Seeking a Personal Assistant/Social Media and Sales Specialist -

The position is a blend of required skill sets that fit the "Personal Assistant/Social Media and Sales Specialist" role.

The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the organization in the personal and spiritual development industry, working and collaborating with the founder, owner, practitioner, and self-development author of this business.

  • This is a remote position.

  • The job type is contract employment.

  • The schedule will primarily be choosing your own hours, with some on-call, and specified times for events, and planned engagements.

  • The pay is commission-based compensation.

General job description:

In the role of sales, media, and personal assistant, the ideal candidate will be confident and highly skilled at developing and implementing frugal sales strategies, obtaining new business, membership, product, and service sales, and retention of clients, customers, and membership. You have proven experience serving customers, resolving concerns, attracting customers and clientele, and creating and maintaining efficient records.

Working with social media, there will be evidence of reputable, and interactive communication skills. From writing a brief to compiling a regular, and consistent brand voice when engaging and growing followers and turning content engagement into loyal customers.

Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, assisting with website and calendar updates, coordinating details for events, and participating in local and online networking, guest or keynote speaking functions, business and email correspondence, addressing potential or existing customer, client, or membership needs and concerns.

This position is a commission-based, contract role, so a proven track record and confidence in the ability to ethically sell, and close sales, is a priority.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain social media accounts for the company, including Facebook, and Instagram

  • Create engaging and relevant content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written content

  • Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, and feedback, and respond in a timely and professional manner

  • Collaborate with the owner to develop social media strategies and campaigns

  • Analyze social media metrics and provide reports on performance and engagement - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing

  • Know the business products and services, and the owner's working style

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn - Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Experience with data entry and clerical tasks, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva

  • Familiarity with phone systems and customer service practices

  • Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for document management and collaboration - Knowledge of DocuSign for electronic document signing

  • Familiarity with Google Calendar for scheduling meetings and appointments

  • Have a private, designated workspace, or office, where there is freedom from disruption, or others viewing private and confidential information

  • A combination of work experience, on-the-job training, and education will be considered - however, it would be beneficial to have a minimum of a bachelor's and/or combined education and training in marketing, psychology, photography/videography, sociology, editing, proofreading, and interpersonal communication

  • Willingness to be flexible, commit to agreed timelines, deadlines, and project completions, on-call, collaborative, accept change or redirection, and self-accountability
