Position: Dual Role as Sales Representative and Personal Assistant

Integrative Therapies & Consulting is currently interviewing applicants in hopes of filling a new opening in a blended or dual role as Sales Representative and Personal Virtual Assistant to work with the proprietor and self-development author, promoting aspects of both her business’s products and services with Integrative Therapies & Consulting and Visual Arts by Josephine.

It is a chance to grow with a small woman-owned organization and have the opportunity to kick-start a new career with your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, retail, appointment setting, collaboration – love of the personal and spiritual development industry, and visual arts, in these changing times. This position will serve as the righthand person to the owner.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join forces and become an important and valued part of a team with 5-years or more, of experience. The right person for the position is capable of wearing many hats and can provide support to the proprietor on both personal and professional levels. This individual knows that what they put into their career is what they will get out of it, implementing an attitude of finding solutions. Must implement HIPPAA practices with clientele information and demonstrate effective listening and communication. They want a company that cares about their success and is dedicated to personal growth and professional development. Job Description:

Through Integrative Therapies & Consulting, the Practitioner offers Personal & Spiritual Development services, a current self-development book (with another in progress), journals, and diaries. The visual art is an online gallery with her photography and digital artwork with a focus on nature, reflective of earth-based spirituality – of which products are available in various forms from print, apparel, stationery, home décor, and more. Your working foundation of available products and services has great potential for your commission-based income!

As a Self-Development Author, Spiritual Counselor, and nature-based Visual Artist, the proprietor goes to great lengths to ensure genuine interaction and personal attention to potential and existing clientele. The proprietor’s approach is to consider how the products and services are of benefit in reaching out to generate organic business. Job Responsibilities include:

  •       Be knowledgeable about the products and services

  •       Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion

  •       Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs

  •       Emphasize the features of products to highlight how to solve customer problems

  •       Answer questions about the products and services

  •       Prepare sales agreements as applicable and ensure terms are met

  •       Collaborate with owner and practitioner regularly

  •       Maintain contact lists, a record of marketing strategies and outreach, and follow up with customers to continue relationships and grow with the organization

  •       Conduct product and service reports by collecting and analyzing client information and feedback

  •       Maintain quality services by implementing superior customer service standards

  •       Analyze and resolve quality and customer service issues with proprietor/practitioner

  •       Identify trends in order to improve current systems

  •       Assist in coordinating and scheduling events, speaking engagements, appointment setting, and draft correspondence

  •       Promote, network, and work with social media, email campaign development, and growth

  •       Developing sales pitches to sell products and services

  •       Making cold calls to sales leads (as needed) or taking calls or emails from prospective customers

  •       Maintaining documentation of your workday activity, contacts, sales, correspondence, etc.

  •       And other duties and responsibilities as the position grows and/or is needed


  •       Previous experience in a supporting role, preferably in the personal development industry

  •       Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, loyalty, and proper measures regarding confidential matters

  •       Highly organized and detail-oriented

  •       Excellent written and oral communication

  •       Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc.), Adobe Acrobat IX, Computer and Online Apps such as Zoom, social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube), Google Doc’s, Messenger, Skype, Google Calendar, texting, Video Chats

  •       Flexible schedule – may work during days, evenings, weekends, or on short notice

  •       People-oriented – enjoys interacting with people and getting to know them

  •       Autonomous/Independent – the ability to work without continuous redirection or prompting

  •       Ability to receive constructive criticism, and follow the vision and goal of the proprietor

  •       Self-Motivated: the ability to set own goals and deadlines to achieve business outcomes and goals set by proprietor and organization

  •       Professional and personable

  •       Knowledgeable of how the marketing industry (niche’s, current approaches with social media, networking, etc.) works in relationship to self-development and spiritual-based books and services, and nature-based visual arts

  •       Practices the skills and tools of the trade as a living example of being in the personal and spiritual development industry

  •       Bonus qualifications: Verifiable skills with editing and proofreading with books, guides, or manuals (not mandatory), but required for correspondence and documentation


  •       Personal Assistant: 5-years (preferred)

  •       Sales/Retail: 5-years (preferred)

  •       Lead, Supervisor, or Management: 3-years (preferred)


  •       Applicable trade school certifications (required)

  •       Bachelor’s degree (preferred), or applicable work experience will be considered

Additional Requirements:

  •       Must reside in the United States

  •       Willing to travel – if the need arises

  •       Must be willing and able to pass a background check

  •       An Arizona resident must have a current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card or be willing to obtain one
