Body-Wise™ sessions teach you what is the Body-Wise™ method of energy integration and awareness. You'll learn the benefits of the method of tapping into the body's wisdom and energy centers, its practical application with a guided session, and how to "listen" to the body and its energy centers of your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical being for health and wellness. The practice of this modality deepens your sense of self-awareness, conscious living, and decision-making. It is a precursor to being able to delve deeply into the Soul-Wise™ integrative method of meditation.

Chakra tuning is a part of the Soul-Wise™ practice. Becoming aware of the visceral sensations of the energy centers is a part of the Body-Wise™ practice. The core of each of the primary energy centers or chakras has small bundles of nerves. There are correlating colors and their own tone or sound, often used as a mantra - "a tool for the mind; to help access the higher power and your true nature."

Most chakra practices focus on healing the seven main chakras since all the other minor and micro chakras are associated with these key energy centers.
​
In the Body-Wise™ practice, you learn how to sense the energy of each center, or chakra, to become familiar with the sensation of each center and any energy patterns associated with each area that correlate to the body, mind, and emotions.
​
The specific order and integrated tools to this method aid in focusing the [ego] mind and help you to access the higher power that is the life-giving force in that energy center, discovering your true nature that may be obscured by any disharmony in that area - which you will recognize during the exercise.
​
Disharmony means energy patterns in the body that relate to beliefs and old stories not serving you that arise in strong emotions - memories that invoke negative feelings and tension in the body, dis-ease, illness, discomfort, and unhealthy habits (patterns) that are felt and stored in the body's systems that influence thoughts, behavior, choices, perception, and well-being.

Josephine Sheppard is the creator of the Body-Wise™ and Soul-Wise™ integrative methods, owner and practitioner of the Live in AAWE™ Approach, and Author of the self-development book, "HSP - Empathic and Empowered: Expanding My Perspective". Through the development of the above practices, she learned how to heal herself in her youth, from an abdominal puncture wound overnight, shift from the mindset that invokes suicide, and healed a life-sentencing diagnosis of vertigo given to her by a Physician in adulthood.
Clients that have worked with Josephine and applied the tools she teaches have healed from insulin-dependent diabetes, habitual negativity, depression, anxiety, decreased and healed infant seizures (treated by her and training the parents in the process), and leukemia, to name a few. Results vary and are individualized.

Her mottos are "With awareness, you have more choices. When you feel better, you will do better. As you feel better, you'll know better, to do better."
To best prepare have a quiet place where you may lay, or partially recline comfortably without disruptions. Have a headset to clearly hear being guided through an online session. Dress comfortably. Have a glass of water nearby and a journal.

Being open, receptive, and having a genuine desire to know yourself will enhance the quality of your experience. Results vary and are not guaranteed as it is individualized. Your facilitator is held free of any liability, as you must take full responsibility for your own well-being. A Guest Speaking Presentation is 2 to 3 hours, depending upon the size of the group. A Presentation provides the basis of the Body-Wise™ integrative approach, a guided exercise for practical experience, time to journal, and a final Q&A. Additional information on services, upcoming events, and book signing options are generally included.

Guest Speaking Presentation for 10 to 100 attendees is $35/person.
​
Guest Speaking Presentations for 101 to 500 attendees are $30/person.

Guest Speaking Presentations for 501 to 1000 attendees are $25/person.

*If the location of the event is within 150 miles of the Detroit Metro area, and more than 10 miles, the added gas mileage fee is 65.5 cents per mile, round trip is added to the fee for the Guest Speaker, which is charged to the hosting organization or business.

*A minimum of 10 attendees is required to book a Group Event Presentation of the Body-Wise™ Method for local [to the author] bookings.
4-Part Workshop Series Rate:

A 4-Part Workshop Series is 1.5 hours per session. A 4-Part Workshop Series provides four classes over the course of four weeks with the following:

The basis of the Body-Wise™ integrative approach, discussion, sensory and vagus nerve exercises, a brief guided session, Q&A, a short guided exercise for practical experience, time to journal, home assignment, and a final Q&A.

Review of the home assignments, discussion, Q&A, a longer guided exercise for practical experience, time to journal, and added home assignments.

Review of personal experiences from home assignments, discussion, Q&A, entire guided exercise for practical experience, time to journal, and review the journaling process.

Review of personal experiences, discussion, final Q&A, full guided integrative exercise, journaling, and bonus practice.
Additional information on services, upcoming events, and how to purchase the author's books and journals are generally included in the course.

Individual Scheduling and Rates:

A single session is between 60-90 minutes. Time is allotted during the session for questions and grounding.

* Sessions are provided as a package consisting of 3 sessions, or 6 sessions. These options serve to obtain the best results possible depending on your focus and goal.
The cost for the 3-session service package is $222.
The cost for the 6-session service package is $444.
* After the initial packaged sessions - that provide you with a foundation, you're encouraged to obtain single follow-up sessions that serve as maintenance and additional support, as needed.
The cost for follow-up single sessions is $88.
